Nyír-Hidrofil Fővállalkozó és Tanácsadó Kft (Nyír-Hidrofil General Contractor and Consultant Kft) started as a limited partnership in 1993 and took up the limited company form in 2001.

Our field of activity includes the preparation, organization, technical supervision, and monitoring of deep and high construction engineering projects. Our expertise also includes other professional engineering services, and giving technical/financial consultancy to our business partners.

Our comprehensive project management services cover the entire project lifecycle, from project planning to commissioning the facilities.

In particular, we are helping to select the contractor – in compliance to the legal requirements defined in the terms and conditions – by raising, collecting and evaluating the offers, conducting procurement procedures, and in consulting with authorities, acquiring permissions and licenses, quality-checking the construction, conducting the commissioning process, performing a post-project reviews to identify errors, ensure and overlook their resolution, and issuing certifications. The specific content of the services we contract for is always custom-tailored to the needs of our clients. Occasionally, we take over all the investment-management related specialist tasks from the clients; in other cases we undertake only some parts of the process. Flexibility and our wide range of expertise are our key strengths, which our colleagues accumulated in investment management during numerous years and decades.

Our current partners are predominantly municipalities of the north-eastern region of Hungary, primarily from Szabolcs-Szatmar-Bereg county, but the number of our partners are showing an increasing tendency in Hajdu-Bihar and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén counties as well, where our partners carry out infrastructural and environmental investments, which are funded by the Hungarian state government and EU-subsidies. Of course, we also undertake with other firms and institutions to carry out deep and high construction investments as well.

We developed long-term relationships with some of our clients, which provide a stable market background to us, but our agreements are always tied to carrying out (a) specific project(s). The conclusion of the contract is always made on a “single-sample” basis.

Since 2003, our company uses a solid, well-working quality management system that is in compliance with the requirements of the MSZ EN ISO 9001:2001 standard. After the first certification period of 3 years, the system was re-certified in 2006 by the same certification authority, ÉMI-TÜV SÜD Kft. During the second re-certification audit, which took place in November, 2009, we also received our first MSZ EN ISO 9001:2009 certification.

At the beginning of 2010 our company decided to also introduce the MSZ EN ISO 14001:2005 standard. The new standard was implemented into the system in which the MSZ EN ISO 9001:2009 standard was integrated, and was successfully introduced in May, 2010. The supporting documentation to the integrated management system was crafted accordingly and was certified in August, 2010.
